ABOUT US
ABOUT CORTE MADERA DAYCARE
Children are experts in imitation, curiosity, and love. This is the way they learn about the world, and we take these natural instincts and reinforce them on a daily basis. Our goal is to promote self-esteem, respect towards others, a love for learning, and fun. We believe children learn from observing the world around them, and our program is built with this in mind.
Our kids participate in a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities such as arts and crafts, music, dance, and story time. We also provide homemade breakfast, lunch, and healthy snacks throughout the day for children over 12 months.

JANA
OWNER / DIRECTOR
With 12 years of experience working with babies and toddlers, Jana brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Jana is also a dedicated mother to three children: Sam (age 13), Lucas (age 11), and Riley (age 7).
Jana's academic background includes several child psychology classes taken at the University of California, Berkeley. To ensure her practices remain current and effective, she actively pursues ongoing education in early childhood development.
Guided by a Montessori philosophy, Jana emphasizes respect, independence, and learning through exploration and play in her interactions with children. Her approach fosters a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the holistic development of each child. As a mother, Jana understands the difficulty of entrusting your child to someone else, and strives to make that transition as comfortable as possible for both children and parents.
